LGfL DigiSafe is becoming LGfL SafeguardED.
Why change a well-recognised and respected name? Well, we have long been respected for our work in the area of online safety, but sometimes people don't realise that we work across the entire safeguarding spectrum (whether county lines or our new work to support you with neglect).
The new name, SafeguardED, hopefully does what it says on the tin. Nothing is changing regarding our commitment to safeguarding (and particular expertise in online areas, of course), but wherever there are safeguarding needs, that's where LGfL can be found. And of course, LGfL is education!
So we hope you will all appreciate the new brand and continue to support us as we develop, and of course, reach out to us to let us know how we can continue to help you keep children safe!
